Support the Clinical Engineering department. Perform the repair, modification, preventive maintenance, safety testing, installation and evaluation of biomedical and other patient care equipment.

Opportunity highlights:

• ·         Full-time, 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday – Friday
  

Required Education and Experience:

• ·         Associate’s degree in biomedical or electronic engineering/technology or related field.
• o    Two years of electronic or biomedical equipment maintenance or related experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
• o    Department of Defense Biomedical Equipment Technician program and one year of biomedical equipment maintenance or related experience may substitute for a degree.
• o    A completed formal biomedical internship or externship program that requires 300 training hours and one year of biomedical equipment maintenance or related experience may substitute for a degree.
• ·         Biomedical equipment experience is preferred.
• ·         Requires working knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
• ·         Will have an AHCA Level 2 background screen.
• ·         Valid State of Florida driver's license or ability to obtain if an out-of-state resident.
